On October 11, Shandong Heavy Industry Group and Shandong Gold Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Jinan. Wang Zhijian, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, held discussions with Zhang Xiaohai, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Gold Group, and Han Yaodong, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager, and jointly witnessed the signing ceremony. Ye Jianjun, Deputy Party Secretary, Board Member, and Chairman of the Labor Union of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, and Xiao Yaomeng, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Shandong Gold Group, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.

Both Shandong Heavy Industry Group and Shandong Gold Group are key state-owned backbone enterprises under the Shandong Provincial Government, holding significant influence in their respective global industries. Over the years, the two groups have maintained a strong cooperative relationship, achieving fruitful results across various fields. Under the new strategic cooperation agreement, the two parties will deepen collaboration in areas such as mine equipment R&D and application, green logistics and transportation, and global resource sharing, leveraging their complementary strengths to jointly promote the high-end, intelligent, and green transformation of their industries.
